View Full Version : Evaporator Removal
Hi Everybody,
Has anyone removed their A/C evaporator from under/in the dash? I'll be taking one out this weekend would like to know if I'm in for a good weekend or a @$#% weekend buried under the dash :confused:

Taken em outta all sorts of cars.....but only reinstalled one in the falcon
Take your time and look carefully at where things go.
Remember the dash comes out as one big assembly and uncovers the stuff you wanna get at.
Patience is the key :D
When you say "the dash", do you mean the whole shooting match top bit from left to right :shock:
Is it easy to get out?
Luckily for me I can practice on the car it's all coming out of. I think I'll need it!!!

its pretty easy all you have to do is take out the screws, unplug the ffew plugs on the drivers side panel part and the whole dash comes out, also before you do any of that u have to take out the centre consol, which is a piece of piss. 4 screws.

one other thing i forgot to mention is, the speakers in the top left and right corners hav a screw in it. u have to take the speakers out of it first
