Hi guys i just got my Greddy emanage and am going to install it myself but just hit my first hiccup (mechanical not electrical),I removed carpet in footwell and removed metal cover from side of center console but how do you remove ECU to get to wiring?
BTW have done a search didn't help.
P.S.Pics would be nice if anyone has them.

The ECU itself is mounted on a bracket/shelf. There are screws on both the passenger and driver's side of the centre console. Undo both and you should be able to pull the whole ECU out into the passenger footwell on its little cradle.

you pull the carpet down in the footwell, then remove the metal panel hiding the ecu (its held in by 3 screws), then theres a bolt on both sides of the ecu. Undo these two bolts unplug the ECU and pull it out. its pretty easy, just look for all the bolts.

sorry to hijack this thread but how hard is it to install a Greddy emanage? Is it just unplug the stock ECU and plug in the emanage? or is there wiring involved?

Thats cool dude you leave the stock ECU inplace but you cut and splice the emanage to it,there is a bit of work involved but it's do-able if have a bit of elec understanding.:)

You don't unplug the stock ecu. A Greddy Emanage is a piggyback ECU - it works in conjunction with the factory ECU. It isn't "plug and play", you need to splice it into certain wires from the ECU wiring harness.
Sorry I can't be of more help - I had one look at mine and booked it in to be done professionally.

Don't remove the ECU - just the connectors.
Some wires splice into the ECU wires, like RPM, Throttle Position, Injectors, etc.
The Emanage reads these signals and adds extra injector duty in addition to what the ECU decides.
2 others are completely cut.
Ignition timing - The Emanage receives info from the ECU, but sends it's own timing signal to the engine.
Airflow sensor- The reverse of timing. The Emanage reads the MAF sensor data and sends it's own info to the ECU.
