Hey guys

I was thinking of upgrading my rims from the Verada GTVi jobbies to something a bit more personal. I am a huge fan of multispoke rims and on top of that white...but alas my car is silver so white would look the gays! :(. so instead i had a looking at ROH azzurros. and they dont seem too bad, i wanna go to 18 but keep the car hieght and suspension stock, this would be possible right? The azzurro 18's i want to run at the same current diameter of the GTVi's which means a 30 - 35 profile?

I took the liberty of doing some dodgy chop work.

I am looking for a) yeah go the azzuros or b) keep the gtvi rims or even c) you suck at photo chopping and it makes no difference.

Any estimates on how much 18 azzuros would cost, or even 17 azzuros for that matter, and how much i would be looking at getting for the GTVi rims if someone wants to place a figure?

Cheers Shibbs

Btw did a search for the azzurros and came up with "favourite beers" (its a theme i am getting alot of in my searching, you alcoholics :P)

Was looking at the Azzuro's in 17 inch 4 Years ago ( as fitted to the Falcon..TE..SR?) but they don't make them anymore.

Ring ROH to check. :D (08) 8468 4140

Are you serious?!!

Man thats really disheartening, stupid bob jane virtual wheels getting my hopes up:rant:

So what are my other options for multispokers?? I dont really want to fork out too much money, esp something like enkies or OZ etc, just a multi spoke design.

Thanks for your opinions BTW. the support for the GTVi's is comforting, might stick with them a bit longer then.

BTW i cant stand chrome, just not me, shadow or silver painted all the way.

Cheers

Azzuros don't suit big cars. They look good on hatches however.

I'm almost about to smack you for considering putting them on a magna ;)

Azzuros look especially crappy with lots of rubber around the rim, they need to be uber low profile.

Stick with the GTVis for now.

Well Then what multi spokes would you suggest "slapping" onto my car??

Azzuros dont look bad with a bitta rubber on them, i dont consider 35 profile LOTS OF RUBBER.

Just a very quick look at some that might look aight:

It all depends on what image your going for I guess....I went for a cruiser type look. Others go for an alternative type look....others go for a drifting type look. I find Magnas (and bigger cars in general) and more suited to something with a lip, and small cars without. Of course theres rims with no lip that still look good...

I've seen Azzuros on a 3rd gen and I thought they looked out of place...but thats just me.

Also the consensus on the forums is to go 18s. 17s don't feel the big Magna arches all that well.

At the end of the day, its all good as long as your happy.

We only give our opinions :)

Could you imagine washing the Azzuro's? getting inbetween each spoke.

Ive only recently put rims on my car, 18" 235/40 and couldnt be happier. Im so glad that i didnt go 17s, 17 to me is "too much rubber, not enough rim". Ill post pics up soon kk.

18" for sure mate.

I have 17" ROH Azzuro's on my TH with a VRX kit. Pics seen here (http://www.aussiemagna.com/forums/showthread.php?t=41863) and here (http://www.aussiemagna.com/forums/showthread.php?t=42545&page=3).

They look big for 17's because the spoke goes right to the edge of the rim, however, once I put the VRX kit on, it somehow made them look so much smaller. Only reason I have them is because I got them for a very cheap price... Looking at upgrading to some 18" BMW M5 style rims in the future... if you're still after them, I'll probably sell the Azzuro's on pretty cheap when I want to get rid of them.

I am going through a similar dilema but I like these. How much they will cost I have no idea. I want them in 18's.

Everyone has different tastes so in the end you should choose what YOU like. It's your ride, nobody will love it as much as you do.
