my new sub arrived yesterday! now the super happy owner of an image dynamics IDMAX D2V.3 :D still undecided as to how its going to be installed, definatly inverted to show off the sexy rear end... im thinking fibre glassed into the wheel well, or nice and simple in the rear of the boot with a beauty panel, either way its gonna look great ans sound aven better :P
peace,
tom

not as much as my 2 L7's off 1500 rms :D its going into a sq set up and only running off 600rms so db aint on the agenda... might enter in the next sound off just for sh*ts and giggles though, see what it can do

nice dude :) hopefully you love the sound, but ill tell you now you will want more than 600W RMS. when i ran mine off 600, it just wasnt enough, really needs 1000W RMS of high buffer amplification to get it souncing nice.

i sold mine because i just wasnt satisfied with it, not nearly as tight, smooth, or accurate as my new JL 10W6, but a lot of people have had success with them :)

thx woob. i heard one they'd put in a car while i was there... sounded awsome for a single 12 output wise... then he put on some jazz and a bit of rock & roll.... handled the bass lines with finesse i reckon, like alot of people say, its all in the box :D..... on that note... what volume box did you rune yours in? ID reccomends a 1.3 cubic footer, i was thinking something maybe a little bigger for a bit more low frequency extension? i was thinking around 1.7-1.8 cubic feet? i was basically thinking of building something around 2 cubic feet cos i can alwayse tune it down by putting blocks in there or something

i ran some little sealed box, and a 2.3cuft 28hz ported box, preferred the ported.
