I've got a noisey speedo i think... only happens in the morning, usually when its cold and lasts about 10-15minutes then is fine after that. like a scraping noise behind the dash that speeds up and slows down with the car and disappears over 60km/h.

Been reading a few posts about this and from that i think its the speedo. Am i right? is there an easy way to fix this noise for noobs or do i just keep playing my music loud :P

Nah but that is pretty damn strange, have a look through the forum and see if u can find how to access speedo, maybe the needle is too tight against back of speedo or something.:confused:

Could be a dry speedo cable. You would need to remove the dash and work some light oil or transmission fluid if its an auto into the cable to fix this.
Do not tilt the dash forwards if you remove it but it would also be worthwhile working some light oil into the back of the speedo where the cable connects if you have it out.

definitely a problem with the speedo cable. I had the same problem in my old ks and got it
fixed during a service. Couldn't remember what they did to fix it though.
