ok, right at this moment i have absolutely no idea what to to to get rid of engine interference through my amped speakers. i have cleaned up both the head unit and amp grounds to the metal and have them firmly attached. as well as this i have my RCA's running OUTSIDE the car, well away from any other cables. yet still i get engine interference. any opinions and help would be very appreciated.
thanks
pete

I have seen boxes you can by from Autobarn that clear out the distortion/interference and fix this issue. I had one in my old car an it did wonders.

try running a thicker cable for your grounds.

Get a Ferrite noise suppression sleeves and attached it on your power cable. That should fix it.

I think jaycar is selling this.

where do those sleeves go on the cables, the whole length?

2 of this on the power cable should do it. You can put on speaker wires also just to make sure.
Check this out, I just don't know which size.
