Hello roomies.

My KF Verada EI has a problem with the factory stereo. It's the radio cassette (remember them) and CD thingy.

Now and again when I turn off the ignition, when I get back into the car and go to start, the radio needs to have the code inputted, as if I had disconnected the battery. AND occasionally the display (which shows "1" when the radio is locked in tis manner) will be dim, not as "bright" as normal.

The problem is intermittent. Battery is good, radio works well after the code entered.

Has anyone else had this problem?

Sounds as if the constant power connection is a but dicky.

Pulling it out is a pain in the ass though.
