I have a new set of alphine 6x9 in the cupboard at home. Is it worth replacing the factory 6x9 in the GTVi???
Will it make it any better or not worth the effort?

Unless you are going to amp them, I don't think it would be worth the effort.

It does make a difference, less muddy - depends on whether you use your rear just for fill or more volume :)

nah i wouldnt bother with them unless your going to upgrade your deck or run them off an amp
the stock h/u just doesnt have enough power to make them sound good, but will have enough power to get them moving

definate big improvment, i put in some 5yo thrashed kickers into mine and they were much clearer than the stockies and resisted distortion more than the stockys too, then i swapped them out for some jaycar's and they were even better again... and thats runing off the factory deck, then later on the deck as changed and they were amped and it was better then, but it's a very worthwile 1hr mod for sure..... just make sure you have the right tools cos the screws are an **** esp the ones closest to the rear window lol
