Hey ive looked through the teche torque pages and found a few articles on this. There is just one question to ask which i couldnt see anywhere!
Is it ok to take off the Inlet and Outlet pipes and block the Bottom Hole. Fill the radiator with water and then let it all run out, and then repeat until clear water runs throught the radiator...Place the hoses back on then refill with a premix?

un do a heater hose and hook up your garden hose
make sure the radiator cap is off and make sure the heater is on

Hmm, when I previously flushed my old car, these are the steps I took
1. Remove radiator cap and make sure coolant can drain from bottom drainhole.
2. insert garden hose and let water run through (recommend that you get a cloth or something to filter the particles e.g. grass that sometimes come through the hose)
3. run for 10-15 minutes
4. close bottom drainhole and fill with coolant
Good time to make sure radiator does not have a hole or is leaking.

If you've got the time, best way is to remove the radiator... only a few bolts.
Then you can backflush it "upsidedown".
There are chemicals you can add to the old coolant for 15-30mins to clean insides
whilst its hot with engine running just before you tip the coolant out.
To backflush, I'll always stand it upright and stick the hose into the lower hole
and run the water until what comes out of the upper hole is clear and clean.

The best flush is a reverse flush, good idea to flush the block as well

the way ive been taught is
take off the cap and drain old stuff have hasoe runing in the raditor so its just overflowing (still have drain plug out) then have ur car runnig for bout 15-20min.
turn of ur car remove the hose. let it all drian out. refit drian plug and put a bottle of coolant fulsher in the ($12 bout) top up wid water let run for bout 1/2 .
drian the flusher out. rund ur car again wid the graden in the tank till u c stright water coming out of the drian.
after this fill with light vechile coolant (500ml to 10l) (it best to mix ur own who knows wats in that cheap premix) run the car wid out the cap til the coolant is hot than put the cap (aviodes getting air locks in your systems) on the ur done.
This is the way we do it at work on car's tracktors and big rigs not one come back

umm... "coolant" that is added 500ml to make 10L will never be GLYCOL,
its just a corrosion inhibitor. yeah they're ALL green colour
trust me, I use them all the time...
('cos scientifically water moves heat better than glycol mix)
True Glycol coolant as specified by Mitsu should be minimum 33%
(that's 3.3L makes 10L) but best at 50% (5L to make 10L).
If you don't know how much water is remaining in the block, you'll usually have room
to fill the radiator with about 4-5L so I just pour in straight glycol into radiator.
It'll mix with the clean water in the block to make approx 40% glycol mix.
