Hi Guys
Have a strange noise eminating from the engine bay.
Hard to explain,thought it might have been the Auto tranny or the engine,however reading some of the threads maybe its the idler pulley bearing for the alternator.
Its quite prevalent from the time I accelerate and continues till I back off the accelerator.
If I drive steadily the noise cant be heard.
Anyone have some ideas?:nuts: :rant:

yeh I had similar symptons on TE, removed pulley & readjusted
belt, noise gone. can't do any harm & eliminating the pulley
might expose if something else more serious is happening
