i was just wondering if anyone could help me here..

when i turne my car on, first thing in the mornings, and i turn the air con on, and this loud screeching noise comes out of it, its a very very very loud noise... even if i drive for a while and wait for the car to warm up, it stills makes it, for about 15secs, it will than stop, but than start again... but than after a while it does stop making it.

its very embarassing lol. cos its bloody loud.

any ideas what it could be guys?

but i have came to the conclusion, that when it starts making the noise, i yell at it, and it stops lol

if it screetches, turn your aircon off and if it stops immediatly then that shoudl be it... either needs to be replaced or tightened.

mine does this too haha, i just dont use air con most of the time, its ok if im not revving it hard and driving like a baby.

the screech is the belt slipping. so yeh either need a new belt or tighten that one

yeah i dont use it that much, but its been too hot lately to drive to work without in on.

Air cond is overrated.. i took mine off..:P weight reduction..:P

yeah thats was stage 2.. in a few months ill be able to lower my quarter mile time buy .3 sec with the hectares i will loose..:P
