decided to pull some stock blinkers appart and have a go at trying to make them match paras seeing as mits really screwed up trying to do it lol

im still getting used to them. i only did it because the stock ones just didnt suit.

they didnt turn out exactly like i wanted them....but i might try the mod again but doing it a different way :confused:

oh btw, it looks like the black in the paras is lighter than the black in the indicators.....thats only because of how the sun was shining on them at the time.

I think you need to use like a charcoal level of black for the mod, it looks to dark that way.

lol i thought that the inside of paras were blackdamn mits for using different colours on their lights! bad thing is is that the indicator lenses arent see thru like the headlight ones are so no matter what way you do the mod...i dont think it ever looks 100%

i definately think they don't look so flash due to the lack of colour coding of the front bar... contrast is a hard thing to manage... best to keep it to a few colours and be subtle...

an improvement though :cool:

bassically i left the blinkers in the sun for a while until the glue had become soft. pulled the lense off the backing and cleaned most of the glue off.

then i painted the inside edges of the lense with black paint. then used a foam (10mmx4mm) from Clarke and glued that all around the chrome. finished it off by using a black silicone to seal it up.

trouble was that the silicone doesnt match the foam or the paint lol. think ill get some new ones and try again. *walks to the bin with the blinkers*

The first two look too dark and thick (if that makes sense?)
Maybe just the lighting and positioning?

the marbley effect paint can have your whole car done for $300
theres a distributor of these paints in scorsby or something
you just use your car as a basecoat..wont need more then 2L to do a whole car.

Well I think they look good mate (the blinkers).

Orange ones would look better IMHO but your effort does look better than the regular clear ones next to Parras.

Looks a bit weird. But i like the black around the clear indicators. Graham (2speedy) did the black around the indicators by putting black duck tape inside the plastic casing.

Btw your front bar is really long. Think it's time to upgrade to a new bar :D
