Hey Ladz,

I have been reading a few posts about the GE Kit, and people seem to think they have stopped making them....

I dont think they have cause i just got a quote for $710 for the full kit Brand New from Mitsubishi, this includes:

Front Lip
Rear Pods
Wheels Arch Flares and
Side Skirts

Is that a fair quote?

What does it normally cost to paint and fit these? What have you guys paid?

What can i be expecting to pay for it totally installed and done..?

Hi mate i couldnt tell you how much they are as my magna came with this kit the previous owner had it put on at mitsubishi when he got the car brand new and he paid $1000 thats supply fit and paint i still have the reciepts for it in car but i did see one on ebay a couple of monthd back i think the buy it now price was around 600 that was brand new

700 is a good price mate, thats exactly what they are worth, can u tell me which mitsu you called cause i have called a few mitsu's and they cant get them!!

oh petey boy, havent heard from you in ages man, yeah i sold my R33, then bought a 180Sx, then sold that then bought my magna back off the same guy i sold it to for $2500 less than what i sold it to him for.. hahaha, made about $6400 after all that, and have the same car i started with...

I paid 600 for a genuine mitsu GE Kit off ebay. Cost me $850 to install and paint though.

but they are computer generated, i still have the stock ones, i wanted to see if smoked, carbon or altezza ones looked the best before i bought any...

beef, your car is the same colour as mine by the looks of it in your display pic. Any idea what the colour is called? apart from.. green?

I have to agree, If I were to put money into a bodykit, i'd want something that stood out abit more, like a VR-X or ralliart kit. Even the bunbury motorsport kits look good but not sure on prices :think:.

yeah, the thing that turns me off the GE kit, is the ugly front lip, i was thinin of gettin a VRX Kit off ebay then buying the Wheels arch flares from mitsu to make it all a vrx look alike...

but i dont know if i can be bothered....

I reckon the front lip looks awesome, I not a fa of way the back pods are done I'd rather they join to make a full bar.

You could get a custom shop to make them blend in, shouldn't cost a fortune.
