Welcome 2 the club dude...
First of all... the search button is the key to most questions my friend.
19" aint too big as some have 20 inches
Tj lights might fit however with the so called indent the TH has along the back it would look really really weird (unless u got the TJ boot like Hlucin8 has haha
Anyways dude thats as much as i can help but the search button is the key, im sure other members might be able 2 help you alot more then myself.

Don't just think about whether 19's will fit, there's a couple other things to consider:
1. How much you'll need to lower the car so it doesn't have the off-road look.
2. How badly the ride will be effected (there is a difference in handling and ride quality as you put bigger rims on).
If all you're worried about is having big shoes, then go ahead... :P

Rims: You are in SA so max 2" bigger in diameter than the largest optioned wheel for your
car. Also max 1" width bigger and 1" change in track (0.5" change in offset).
Paras: can be done. See DIY thread on paras
Exhaust: Have a look at D&T website.

19" will fit. However they will be illegal, as you only allowed to increase by 2" from original rims. If you have the exec model, then it came with 15", otherwise, the V6Si and Sports model came with 16" alloys. But if you dont care about legalities, then yes, 19" will fit no problem. Brand doesn't matter. Any wheel place will find out if any particular wheel is available for your car.
Regarding Parra's, be patient. You can sometimes find a cheap set on here, but you have to be quick. its a hot item that many people want. Expect to pay around $400 for 2nd hands.
About the rear tinted lights, I have tinted my TH rear lights. You can buy TINT spray. I applied about 4 layers of it, and it looks quite dark, but still lets enough light through during the day. It looks absolutely hot, but then, i have a black TH. But i have seen white 3rd gens, with tinted rear lights. It looked good also, specially with well tinted windows. :)
Not sure about the straight pipe. I have dual exhaust myself, it basically splits just after the rear axle. Had the whole piping replaced with 2.5" after the cat. Got the stock cat still, a straight through hotdog, and 2 straight through mufflers at the back. Its quite droney at times. Rear mufflers will get replaced soon with some Redbacks....
Good luck. In my opinion, TH were one of the better looking models of the 3rd gens.

yea i agree with you there, i rate the TH!
haha thanks for ya help , i heard that hte TINT spray factory in america burnt down tho? lol sound stupid but sum dude told me today, not too sure, haha i will wait for ma parra's...
what colour is your TH? na to be honest id lyk to b legal about the rims, lol but then again i lyk big rims, so it looks lyk 18's then lol
mm im confused about exhaust systems, from my little knowledge, (lets start from the cat), there is a cat then? then? then? lol can u please help me out, it might help me pick a system, how much did you split cost? yea i ehard most magna's drone tho, oh well.
im not too sure if you would know either, but how much would a TJ boot lid cost? and how easy does it fit a TH.
sorry about all the questions, i used to be a rice boy lol

You have to choose your mods properly. You say you have a budget so you shouldnt go for big rims. Dont forget, the bigger the rim the more costly are your tyres! Someone already complaining about $400.00 per tyre? So you sure you are game for it?
Parabolics cost $400 approx as you can see they are not rare just expensive.
a bootlid from TJ may cost from $150-$300 depending on where it is sourced from.
gd luck.

Mine is Sable, or metallic black. I have the V6Si model, which has the same body kit as the sports, and is colour coded also. Just didn't come with foggies or tiptronic.
Check my profile for a pic

Ok, from the catalytic converter, it goes into a 2.5" pipe, into a hotdog (straight through), runs to the back, over the rear axle, then it splits to each side, into a muffler (straight through) each.
And when i say, drone... i mean, (motha****in coins rattle and rear view mirror is useless, just a big blurr). lol

Im not sure on this one. I know some here in QLD have done it, but dont know on cost. I think its a straight swap from the TH lid?

Tinting the tail lights are also illegal. Someone on here got defected recently.
As for exhaust. Here is the standard magna setup.
Front exhaust manifold going into flexi pipe and joing up with rear exhaust manifold and
then joinging into another flexi pipe. After the flexi pipe is the cat. After the cat is the
resonator (it takes some of the exhaust bark out). After the resonator (there may be two)
the piping goes over the rear axel (AWDs go under the rear diff) and join onto the muffler
which has twin tips.
The cheapest way to do duallies is to split it after the resonators (cats are expensive).
Have the pipe go under the centre of the rear axel (its the non moving part due to IRS)
and then split into two pipes leading to two mufflers.

Well, $400 a pop is rediculous. I have 18" wheels, and 8" wide, using 235/40R18 tyres, and they set me back around $180 a pop for cheap nankangs, but im happy with them. good grip

$400 was for 225 wide tyres with a very uncommon profile height. Its silly but 235/40R18
on 18x8 wheel combo is cheaper than 225/45R18 on 18x7.5 wheel as 45 profile 18" tyres
are fairly expensive.

Yeah. My first wheels i was going to buy only came in 18x7.5, which i steered away from, as the tyres almost doubled in prize, as they are uncommon

how much is this setup likely to cost me, a ballpark figure?
also with the tinted lights, that iss S*** hahaha nooo fair, well it looks lyk im heading towards frosted then :S oh well, but i think it will look a bit wierd on a white car,
by the way, how much dus a new front grille cost (TH)

Frosted tail lights car also be illegal if it reduces light output and reflector reflectance.
You could try retro fitting a TW tail light with the darkened surrounds (similar to mine).
As for exhaust, ring around. There's plenty in Adelaide that'll do it. You'll need two
mufflers unless you want to fit another standard magna muffler on the left and keep it all
quite (from a wrecker). This will improve performance as you've effectively doubled the
exhaust capacity.

No worries. I think there is a sticky on removing the tail lights or just a normal thread. I
personally have not removed tail lights before.
As for exhaust. The existing piping is close to 2.5" diameter, so split it into two 2" or 2.25"
pipes. Both will give bigger overall surface area for exhaust to travel (pipe end area).
2.5" pipe = 4.9sqin area
2.25" pipe = 7.06sqin area
2.0" pipe = 6.28sqin area
Then, fit two 2.0" or 2.25" turbo muffler (standard tri-flow) mufflers to keep it quiet.

Regarding tail lights, just tint them. Mine are quite dark, and no cops have pulled me over yet. And i had several behind me. If you are worried about the light, just replace the light bulbs with LED's.
Regarding the exhaust, It set me back around $800 for hotdog, 2 mufflers, 2 chrome twin tips and new 2.5" piping from the cat back. In your case, i would say, just change the rear mufflers and get it split for the dual system just after the rear axle. I heard many magnas with that setup and sounds really nice, without the drone.
Rear lights are easy to remove. In the boot, behind the light, remove the carpet, and you should see 2 or 3 nuts. Remove them, and the whole tail light comes out.
Regarding the letterbox grille, you can also speak to Dee on these forums. She is in NSW. She has made some herself. She is good with stuff like that
EDIT: Just saw you are looking for clear side indicators. If you tint the rears, i would suggest tinting the side indicators too. I did that, and looks shmick

Another cheap mod is to replace the rear muffler with a straight length of pipe in equal diameter to your exhaust piping. Sounds dodgy, but with all the other resonators on a magna, shouldn't be much louder. What it will do is provide MUCH more flow.
I've done it on a couple cars now, and I love it :D

Well, surprisingly, when I took one of my old cars in to get it done, the guy running the shop was skeptical as. He said 'we better start it up without the muffler so you know how loud it's gonna be'.
When he started it up, there wasn't ANY difference to the volume, only the note (gets a lot deeper). Haven't done it to the TL yet, but I'll keep you posted if I do.
A good test (provided it can be done) is to remove the rear muffler from the car and start it up long enough to give it a few revs and what not. Should be a good indicator of how loud it would be, and costs you nothing but your time.
