Sorry if there is a for sale and wanted forum here somewhere, because I couldnt find it.

Anybody got a reed valve and associated pipe to fit a 2.6 with a carburettor??
It sits on the front of the motor and has a pipe running into the top of the exhaust manifold to allow air to enter and provide a more complete burn so you dont wreck your Cat.

Will pay a reasonable price for a unit that has recently been in service and is known to work.

If you can get me a pic of what it looks like I will get one for you if I have one spare.

Sorry about the crappy pic. You can see the outline of the rocker cover and plug leads and the pipe curl's around and goes down thru a heat shield and into the exhaust manifold.
I need the pipe and the valve.:)

If I can remember correctly I had troubles getting the pipe off, but I will have a look for your tomorrow mate, got to go to work now.

Yes I would imagine that they have been in place for 20 years and would be rusted in by now.:confused:

Well the pipe is in good condition but the valve it self either has rust or fire damage.

Well they go directly into the exhaust manifold, so if they malfunction they get burnt to a crisp. I will check to see if they are rebuildable and get back to you. Thanks for your help:)

Just the top had some damage, the base part is fine.
