Just wondering if I can put later model Gen3 seats in my 1997 TE. Are they a drop in fit?

any of the seats from TE/TF/TJ/TW/TL should be interchangable as the floor pan is the same on all models. just be careful with verada seats as they might have electronic adjustments that need wiring in.

I put TJ seats in my TH so all should be ok, I also have TJ carpet in my TH so I'll vote they all should be interchangable

TL & TW also have electric seats, but yeah pretty sure the rails will all match.

TL & TW will NOT fit, the rails are shorter/longer/different shape (cant remember exactly)

Anything TE-TJII will fit with minimal fuss. (I put Leather KH seats in my KE the only issue was the metal bits that bolt onto the chassis on the rear seat were about 1cm off, just bent em into place and all is good)
