Hi,

I was wondering if anyone knew if its possible to get different tail lights for a TR Magna. Also whats the biggest rim size that will fit without having to get stuff worked. Thanks

Only stock option is the verada ones, which are the same but with frosted clear blinkers instead of amber. Only other option is to find some from other cars that are of a similar size and shape, and modify the bodywork to suit.

I reckon you should try using the Verada tail lights (clear indicator ones) and tint the red section alone. That would give it a very unique look, especially if your TR is a neutral color.

Thanks for the options. What cost do you reckon the tail lights are.

You should be able to get the two lights and rear garnish for around $200 without much trouble. Just a matter of looking around, checking forums, wreckers, trading post and eBay.

I was thinking of finding a pair of Nissan skyline tail lights (the ones that look like two circles) and get them fitted.

lol... yeh, but.. cant be done mate. If you actually did it to scale, you'd find they wont fit at all unfortunately.

Maybe some r33's?

Hang on a sec. R33 and R34 lights do not belong on a magna. Sorry. That's just silly.
After all, we're driving DSM's not Nissans.

Just get some verada/sigma or if you're up for it and interested in being 1 out of like 10 people in Australia, go for the Diamante rear conversion. Parts can be sourced from ebay like the garnish etc.

Yeah, I reckon you can't beat the Verada (clear indicator) look with lights wired into the centre rear garnish bit. Just trying something different I guess.

Awesome look...

Yeah i love the garnish tail lights. Looks exactly the same as the garnish lights that came with the Galant VR-4 Monte Carlo Edition at night.

Definitely stands out from the crowd.
