Just wondering what was the difference with the series 2 TJ/KJ compared to a normal TJ/KJ

Major differences:
TJII got tiptronic (i think KJ series 1 got tippy?)
TJII abit more powerful engine
TJII got the electronic ODO/trip computer, not sure if KJ series 1 got this as well?
TJII got ABS standard i think.

They're the main differences that i can think of.

MY02 TJ looks like a TJI but has TJII stuff in it (with the exception of tippys)

Pretty sure KJ series 2 got 5 speed tippy, KJ series 1 got 4 speed tippy.
Also KJ series 2 got one piece paras whereas series 1 got 2 piece.
