n he goes that on his dads car (came with stock 15") which was a holden, they rang up holden and said they had a certain make of car and they sent em the plate on the inside of the door...

now he said i could jus ring mitsu n ask them to get me a new one..

call up mitsu and get a VRX tyre placard and viola... im 99% sure thats what u do anyway

i have a TH exec that came with 15's i went down to mitsi and asked for a series 2 VRX placard and now im on 18's been pulled over heaps and they have gone through the whole car and never be done or asked questions about them

I've heard lost of info on this tyre size business what the deal with legal illegal i can see how it legal to just get another tyre placard from a different car and then viola its all ok AMC legal dept needs to finalise this for us.

That's because it is illegal to put the wrong tyre placard on your car, can't remember the fines but they're pretty steep from memory. That said 99% of cops out there probably wouldn't know the difference between placards anyway.
