Hi guys... Summer is killing me... so decided that the stock Mitsu tint is no longer good for me... drove pass some $99 tint car shops... wondering if anyone here has done them and roughly how much would it be to tint a TJ magna? and recommended and CHEAP places... hahaa...
anyway i was wondering if it is possible for me to tint glasses to like merc blue on my white magna... i mean legally of course...

most tint places will charge around $350-$400, can get it cheaper, depends if you want it to last, if you want a warranty, if you dont want it to bubble, etc etc

I've got the Endurance Tint. Cost me $385. It's turns into a mirror during twilight, but apparently, in SA atleast, Endurance is legal. 20% isnt, which is how dark I got mine.

You can get cheap dye based tinting done for about $200, but the stuff only lasts a couple of years and will look crap in the long run.

The heat reduction is also vastly different. Get the Endurance mate, you will really notice the difference in temperature, and the life-time warranty is nice too. All for an extra $185.

I had dark tint (forgotten the %) on my first magna and it was hard to see out of at night :(

remember your mate is one thing when you get done is another. We can always tell stories about others but the cop can choose not to listen to them and just show you where you broke the road rules.

Mirrior tint is definately NICE, but I am sure they are not legal.

its legal on commercial vehicles, not passenger vehicles :( as for the Endurance tint.. im very keen on it, where wouild i go to enquire about it? or should most good tinting places do it?

yes just hunt around, do what im gonna do when im back on the road one day just go around to a few shops finding info on them

I just got tint professor, mainly cause they pick up ya car and drop it off. Was $350 including removal of old tint.. just standard darkest legal 35%. lifetime warranty.. can't complain. better than my old rippled crap, haha.

He knows what he is doing - did a perfect job with my car, uses all the best tints (exact same as other places that charge triple as much), is mobile and only charges $220. His reputation preceeds him, so there is often a week or two wait before he can fit you in.

Cheap and remarkably good quality sh!t.

P.S. Members GTV_KruzR and LeGiOnAiR both have had their tint done at this place, ask them for some feedback.

Make sure you get a life time warranty with tint, that's all i can say. You pay $99 for something with a one year warranty, in no time it'll be fading, bubbling etc. You can usually get it done for around $2-300 depending what places have what specials.

not sure where you are in qld, but I had mine done by WJM window tiniting. Had old tint removed and 20vlt put on. It is 3M tint too. Probablay charge you around $200-250. He is mobile or works from home (Forest Lake) as well. He does tinting for dealers in Bris as well. 0403175225Warren. Let him know Tony with red magna sent you and you will do pretty well. I have sent a few people to him now.

Also you'll probably find that the $99 tint is actually for a ute. My local tinting shop had the same thing advertise, they then tell me that's only for a ute and that's like the lightest tint available..

I put my reputation on the line by giving you all my word that the tint i am offering for $150 is of top quality, it just doesn't come with a warranty that's all.
