help!!!!! my V6 TS magna is idling at about 3k RPM in neutral and park, everytime i engage drive or reverse, it feels like gearbox is going to drop off. Now there is engine oil leaking from between the inlet manifold and the throttle body :angry::angry::angry:

wtf is engine oil doing up there??

i'd want a look at it but i'd be taking **** off, inspecting and putting it back on before your go replacing it... also i wouldn't drive it... 3k dumps would not be nice for the tranny

ok i just checked all the breather hoses from the rocker covers and they are clear. a tad dirty, but clear. I am positive this is the Idle Control Motor now. However it is saturday and i really need my car this weekend!! i sprayed WD40 over the idle motor connectors just in case there was any moisture build up. that didnt help. I have wound the idle screw right down to the bottom and the revs are down to about 2k RPM at idle now. I think the clunking is because of the idle.
Any ideas on what i can do with the idle motor, its screwed on damn tight and cant get it off. is there anything that can be done with it?

Pull it off (without snapping the screws) and give it a good clean with Carb Cleaner... you'll be amazed at all the gunk and carbon that comes off...

Do the same to the throttle body and butterfly while you're at it .. could be the problem also.

You'll need to pull the hose off that goes from your air filter to the throttle body anyway to get to the ISC motor so may as well make use of the can of Carb Clean and do it all at once.

Problem may also be a Throttle Postion Switch but DON'T touch this as it is sealed for life and needs a multi meter and some knowledge to be set right.

Good luck with it all...
