Ladies and Gentlemen (and I use that term very loosely, Paul lol)

I finally got my bumpers! The rain finally let up enough for the ground to dry out so they could retrieve my set of body coloured bumper bars for my TR. Funny story regarding the delivery of the things, I got the two bumpers and front left guard (mine was dented) for $260. Anyway, I was standing next to my car with two doors open on one side pondering how the hell i'd get them into my car, when some crazy old guy comes up to me and says "You're not gonna get those into your car mate haha" I agreed with him lol

After a bit of a chat he offered the use of his old land cruiser, we loaded the gear in there and set off to my place. Flabbergasted by his generosity, I offered him alcohol, lots of alcohol, but he denied! Delivered to my place for free! What a legend! I thought generosity toward strangers was only a trait I had... but it looks like karma has finally given me something to smile about.

I'll post up some pictures in a sec, let me just say that the new ones look a whole lot better than the grey things I had before. The ass end looks much neater :) I cut the crap out of my hands fitting all of this stuff, but it was an awesome learning experience.

Pictures:

The new rear, painted garnish and new bumper (a towball cutout... should I cover this somehow? Perhaps a rear bodykit?)

The front! (Couldn't get very far in front of the car, so have a diagonal one. New front guard pictured too.)

And a set of multispoke 15" rims... I can get these very cheap, should I get them?

My brother said to me that it made my car look five years younger... I told him that the TS was released around 1995, so it only makes it look two years younger >_>

Oh and of course! The gratuitous BEFORE shot:

Geez mate nice work!
Car looks alot better, but i have some ideas?
Get rid of the verada organge indicators, they stick out like dogs balls and just dont suit the car, go for the standard ones and make them clear, Ill even do a photoshop for you if you can hold on:P
Um, you need a muffler:P.....any muffler...:P
Dress the side trim with either some mother back to black, meguiars exterior trim detailer, or something similar.......will add a niceness to the grey bits of ya bumpers.

Also your bonnet seems to sit lower a bit then the gaurd.
Open the bonnet and you'll see either side where the headlights are 2 big rubber stoppers, just twist these to either bring them up or down. then your bonnet should sit flat:)

I would leave the rims unless your getting them for free

Hmmm really ditch the orange indicators? I dunno... I kinda like the contrast. I still have my old ones, I just need to know how to remove that orange crap that's inside them :S Maybe Firestorm can show me how to make them look parabolic like :)

I know I need a new muffler, I just want something that isn't that much louder but just sounds deeper, any ideas?

I've been giving the plastic parts a nice buff with the back to black stuff, they are coming up rather well (still got some of my collection from when I worked at SCA) And yeah I noticed my bonnet in that picture, so I fixed it soon after :P

Cheers you sexy thing.

how much extra was it to get 2.5" from the headers back?

If he was budget concious i wold probably get well depends if he likes rice or not, so like either a 4.5" cannon or a redback or something.
If you know what muffler westside_t_s_d has on his verada well tell me cause that car sounded unbeilveable insane when belting it.

cannons are good up until 2000rpm then you hear diddly squat

I need to do something about my engine and its rattle factory. Seriously, it's driving me ****ing nuts, how much is it to swap a V6 into this thing  $800 for a timing chain is so ridiculous.
