Howdy ppl, i recently came accross a pair of lighted blue colour neon lights which sit underneath those two little spray jets on the bonnet which spray water on ur windshield to clean it(if that makes sense  ).

Now seeing as how they look really really good at nite i was wondering about the legality of them. Im in NSW and anyone who may know or can reference me to inquiries would b very helpful.

They are perfectly legal so long as a full spray is still given to the windscreen and you dont drive with the lights on.

Ooo that kinda sucks then not being able to drive with them on. And yeh i did see them at repco, quite cheap n easy to install aswell :)
Now i just gota decide wether to attract unwanted police attention by installin them, or retaining the sleeper with mags look hehehe.
Thanks a bunch guys.

Possibly a good idea. However i dont think u could really call a magna rice unless u really went over the top with stickers, lights etc. I mean a V6 is a fair backing to ur looks.

I once got called rice in my rexy because i have a nice subaru decal on the quarter panel. What made it worse was that it was by some loser in a commodore witha hsv bodykit, i just laughed n blew him off at the lights and then round a corner :o u gotta love awd + 2.0t

washer jet led lights are allowed in vic in any colour except red as it represents the rear of a car no red allowed to face the front.that came from a head traffic cop at werribee station.

LoMGNA - u dead serious about jet led's?
cause my friends got done for having blue led's (as well as bold tires)
but this was quite a while ago.,. about 6mth actually, might be slighly longer

btw, we are in vic

should I even bother putting them in? is it a waste of $15~20?
I think Foggies look better and it actually do something for ya, eg light up the road, only about $25

If you want more light then you should never have considered these LED washer things.

They are 100% novelty, and very legal to have installed. Just dont ever be caught with them on whilst driving.

i actually like mine because it has a better spray onto the windscreen while trying to wash it - it doesn't have two small dots - it instead sends a sheet of water to the windscreen - very good!!

for those which say nsw legal other state illegal etc.. I'm not sure if that's applies anymore. that i sent my dad to see if he could get me out of a parking fine. and he when to see a fellow solicetor who buys the australian road rules. and they have just released a supplement or redone them.

New things include:
Australian wide rules (that what i was fined under)
and odd new things like if you spary water from the road to a pedistrian then that is a 3 demirt point offence.

I haven't seen the new things myself i only know what my dad told me. If i get the chance i'll see whats in there in the way of car mods

Haha, the chances of that happening are 1 to 1,000,000,000, the chances of it happening infront of a cop so he can fine you are 1 to 999,999,999,999...

But at least we see in black and white what the lads in parliament are getting paid for!
