got rid of the amber lens on the inside of the indicator yesterday so i just thought i would post the results. no major difference but im happy with it.

Looks good mate, I did this a while back using the oven technique.

Yesterday I had to replace passenger side (cracked), just left it in the sunlight for 1/2 hour and came apart just as easy.

Have you fitted Amber indicator bulbs. I looked at the photos and can't see any.

BTW - This modification is seriously illegal. You have voided an ADR.
If your indicators now flash white then they will be invisible in daylight!

If your indicators are not visible and are not the correct colour and you cause an accident because the other party claims to the police that you were not indicating and the police check then the following will happen.
a) defected - not really a problem
b) Insurance will not cover you. - whoops broke!!

Yeah, definitely put some orange bulbs in there.

I drove around for a few months with white globes, looks awesome, however not so much fun when theres a cop behind you and you need to turn

For the sake of $5 max for bulbs I decided to stop being Mr. Vigilante and conform to the ADR's.

the globes do not flash white they flash amber. the only thing i took off was a lens not a reflector so i do not see how it would effect visiblitly
