Yes and with the right offset no they don't scrape. I had XR6 rims (17x8) on my TR and no scrapage at all.

you have 17x8 now.
so long as you have the correct mitsubishi offset, not the AU/BA offset, an 8" rim will not rub.
most 17" rims are either 7.5" or 8" on a magna. 18s tend to all be 8".

I had BA 17x8 rims on my TR and had zero rubbing....
And most magna 17's are 17x7, unless you're talking aftermarket.

i am getting aftermarket. i was going to keep it a secret but the territory rims are comming off hopefully in less than 3 weeks.:)

yeah cept they wont have tyres as im getting the 17 inch tyres put onto the new rims.

7.5 inches wide with a 35 offset
