im not 100% sure but when i was at mitsi when i blew my speedo sensor and i asked about the digital odo cluster they told me it wont work coz the TJ II onwards use a diferent loom.
what you could maybe try is go to a wrecker buy one pulg it in and see if it works. if it dosnt you can always return it and swap it for the analog one.

Looks like you need to do some converting for your car! Read through the problems in the 1st gen section, it should give you some idea of what is different.
its just there is a ralliart one on ebay so i was gonna get that.
ah well i dont mind stayin on my analog one

Yeah, I've seen that posting on eBay, are you sure it's genuine? Looks like it may have been a homejob...

why not go for a pre TJ rada cluster for something different.

Digital cluster your meaning an LCD screen or something that brings up KMph and a bar that lights up across a scale for RPM???
If so that would be very cool to have. I didnt know magnas had digital clusters???
I have seen even VL calais to have this kind of cluster... I want one!!!
Gas_Hed - this would be very 'RAD' lol

mines a sports one so its got the silver round it and looks pretty cool, i might drop i nto the wreakers today and see wat the difference is between the two , dig/anaglog

But you get the auto illuminating high contrast cluster with the rada ones and you can always paint the surrounds silver

sorry to go a bit off topic here...
but has anyone ever seen the dash of a Honda Prelude??? The cluster is laid out over half the length of the dash and its all digital readings and illumination. If there was a cluster the same size as our standard ones but was fully digital, how much fiddling would it take to get it to work?

Been there, done that, as in, Mitsu had the all-digital dash in the 1st gen elites. It was a
fad in the 80s and early 90s.

I think they are great, should have kept them in the top models... My opinion anyway.

If you are after a cluster to suit TE-TJ analogue, I have a spare one sitting at home doing nothing if you're interested. Has only 000,6**km on it. Only difference is the speedo only goes to 180km/h but it works well.

I have a MY02 analog dash..
There is no cables.. they are sensor driven which then sends the signal up the wires to ECU..
