Jesus christ I dunno what happened but my power window in the back left hand side is game over. I tried it out one day and it went "SNAP" and the window doesn't stay closed it falls down. I press the up button and i can hear the motor working but window is not moving.
I jammed some cardboard wrapped in black duck tape in between the door window and the seals to keep it from sliding down on its own :sook:
Any idea how much this would cost to fix? And has this happened to anyone else?

pull ur door apart and find out what went. sounds like the motor is good but maybe the cable broke? when u find out whats broken just go to the wreckers and get what u need to replace the broken part/s. oh and take it with u (the broken part). shouldn't cost very much if u do that. but if u take it to a shop be prepared to faint at what they want to charge u:D

yeah...the window slid all the way down and you couldnt power it up.....then if you lifted it up manually it would just slide back down again....so i had to sleep in the car for her guarding it with an axe cuz we'd been having break-ins....damn homebush...ahah :P

Haha na man i' put black cardboard in between to hold it up so it doesn't slip down
But yeah, these storms are hectic i reckon they just gonna melt the cardboard away soon so I better get it done.
I thought i was going to have to replace the whole door or something that's why i left it for ages.

Yeah man, shouldn't take you long at all, it took me not even 15 mins to take a window reg outta one car, and put straight into another... hardest part was putting the window back in without scratching the tint and that was easy!
