.. so after fitting the passenger side mount insert in my tr up the wrong way up.. it started shaking much worse than it was with the old mounts, so back to work today, and pressed the damn thing out again. it was quite mutilated after bashing it in with a rather large hammer last time, but im getting my head around using the hydraulic press and a few primitive "tools" which i made up to be able to press them out and new ones in. that was finished in about an hour and a half and another hour i spent replacing my front one. 2 more to go, and it should run beautifully. even on 2 new ones im pretty happy with it, although i think the rear one is pretty worn. the easiest way i found was cutting the old rubber out with an air saw and then chiselling the actual metal surrounding, wasnt stupidly difficult but my "tools" felt very much like springing out from under the press.. that would have sucked..
anyway, hopefully the transmission mount and the rear mount arent more difficult than that, cant wait to have them all changed
