i just got pioneer 6.5'' to go on my parcel rack, should i cut the carpet and put them in or should i get speaker boxes?

Assuming you have a TS, just cut the carpet. You won't have any mounting holes for it though unless you drill some, just remember that. The second gen parcel racks have 6"x9" holes and mounting screw points already in there.

your allowed to cut the carpet but not the metal on the parcel shelf
if your worried about it just get some spacers made up

Dont think so, but its piss easy to run some mate.

Also i mean i dont thinnk police will know if you've drilled 8 tiny holes for screws, and if the holes are already there id say go for it.

HOWEVER
they will sound better in an angled pod rather then sitting flat pointing towards the glass;)

well hello hi jack (sorry i had to do that) you can drill some holes for screwing down the speakers is that what you mean mikey.
