Does anyone have a transmission cooler on their car?
If so was it hard to install? Does the transmission seem to run cooler?

Sort of.....
I have a pwr "transmission cooler" on my car. It came with a fitting kit (of sorts) so installation was a snap once I removed the front bar, intercooler (not applicable on most models), and the radiator. It is mounted on front of the air-con condensor radiator.
I'm not using it for transmission fluid, I'm using it for power steering so I can't comment on what kind of difference it would make when hooked up to auto trans fluid. But it has stopped my power steering fluid from boiling out the top of the resevoir as often.

Ive got one from a TS on my car, took about 1/2 hour to install and cost about $50 all up.
Used to have a strange problem when after driving long distances the car would kick down violently when i came to a stop, since installing the cooler the problem seems to have gone away *touch wood*.

mate got me one from the wreckers for $20. Got some transmission hose and disconnected from radiator and connected in sequence to the factory cooler in radiator.i.e trans-rad-cooler-trans. smoother changes at high revs. zip tied it to vertical lock support in front of condenser
