can you use a turbo spec cam on an n/a engine??? what is the consequences of doing this

most turbo spec cams have a minimal duration and overlap, so as to limit the loss of pressure through an un closed valve. Being such, they are usaly less agressive.

i ask because i want to turbo in the future and soon i gotta get the valve seals done. so at the same time to reduce cost in the long run id put a cam better valve springs port and polish etc

dont do it....

your car will be even slower and use more fuel, untill one day ages from now you decide to turbo it :nuts:

unless your going all out on the turbo, it's proably wise to just stick witht the stock cam anyway

How about you post the specs of the grind. Most turbo grinds are tame anyway and identical to "mild" specs.

It would be fine I think.

You'll still get a gain in power, just not as much as an N/A Stage 1 or Stage 2

its the rpw spec ones except they dont give specs on there turbo cams. has all the specs on na though
