gday every1,well over the last 2 month ive been getting repairs done to my magna, some nob faught it was funny to jump on top of my bonet while i was doin a lap of town at night, later on i soon realised he had made a small dent in my bonet,so i made him pay!
190 bucks cash of course
anyways about a week after getting my bonet fixed and resprayed,i went on a charity cruise with some other local car clubs, during the cruise i acidently ran into the back of my mates car when him and a few cars infront of him braked all of a sudden, only minor damage was done to both of cars (mine and my mates)due to haveing a bigger car lesser braking distance, lucky i wasnt flooring it it could of been worse.
anyways i decided to get the mirrors colour coded at the same time when the repairs were getting done.
cost on repairs 250$ for bumper respray and fixed
100$ mirrors colour coded
a week after ,i got my grill fixed (from where it had cracked) and i decided instead of painting it silver i painted it chrome and at the same time got the mesh in my front bar painted chrome as well,i had to pick and clean every bug out of my grill and get it clean and sanded the grill back abit b4 paint,3 coats for the mesh in the bumper,4 coats for the grill and 2 coats of clear coat for the grill.
a week later i damaged my side skirts, while reverseing out of a driveway:(
so im without side skirts atm till they are fixed, but anyways i faught i would share the pics of my new painted grill, bumper respray and bonet respray and colour coded mirrors
please let me know wat ya think of the grill, enjoy:)

Why dont you try Hlucin8's grill the TH one, it looks much sportier for the colour. I like his grille better, but the rest of your car look good. As for your body kit getting damages, is part and parcel as you are in country roads.

yeah i like the TH grills,my mate has a TH grill i like the TE/TF grills cause they look more luxury kind of look than the sporty style TH grills, and my grill is now custom haha so its unique so im happy with it:) but yeah im jelous of hlucin8s grill it does look pritty aws from the pics ive seen of it:P

And your chrome grille looks aluminium coloured not chrome.
Trust me for your car it looks better with the TH look luxury does not suit your car.

Not easy for him guys, He needs to win them on Ebay, or get a pair here, as he stays in the countryside is harder to get them from wreckers for him.

That is one of the cleanest and best looking Magna's in my opinion. Its not overdone with stupid size wheels, or have some dumb kit all over it. Its simple, clean and looks great because of that. Top marks.

nice work mate :D
looks the goods
when they resprayed your bonnet did they blend it in with the surrounding panels?
in that front on pic you can tell its been resprayed because its a different colour
or it may just be the light
oh and your bonnet needs to be adjusted, looks like its sitting lower on the right hand side (look from front to back)
apart from that looks good even without the side skirts

Which is why I love his thinking for not lowering anymore as he and I know the road conditions and the comfort of the ride.

Has anyone with a white magna ever tried putting in the parras then painting the grill black with black meshing? I reckon it would give it an aggressive look, but without seeing it done it's hard to say.
Just a thought...

Hey how you going?
I have just become a member. Just wanted to say your ride looks pretty smart. I currently starting to do my 2001 TJ up its already lowered with sports exhaust and 17inch mags but i want a body kit, possibly darker tinting and a new muffler. I do not know a lot about cars and was joining up for some help with this project.:) Hopefully I can hang around a while and you guys can give me some tips hey. Where did you get your body kit and how much? where did you get the painting done. I want to colour code my car and want it done reasonably cheap.
