you can try silicon spray on the tracks and/or grease the winding part on the inside of the door

my brothers executive did this. The inner window rubber at the top of the door trim kept folding in on itself making the window hard to wind up and down. I bought a new one from mitsubishi and we repalced it. problem solved. Dont know if this is whats happening to yours but it gives you something to check.

Thanks I've tried spaying lithium grease and also put some from a tube on the tracks with no luck :(
Will try pulling the door trim of and applying some more

Today I took the door trim off and butchered it :(
Anyway I sprayed more Lithium grease on the window tracks and the window is easy to windup again :)
Can anyone recommend a spray on grease that won’t evaporate and will last longer than a few days on the window track ?

sounds like something is too tight if you need copious amounts of grease. check all the moving components of the window mechanism to see if anything is sticking.

My sisters TS exec did this, turned out to be that the wire that gets wound around the wheel was cross threaded and was chewing up the plastic wheel inside the door.
Got a whole replacement winder unit for like $20 from the wreckers, took about 10 mins to install, easier if you have to 2 people, one to hold the glass up whilst you install the new rail etc

Thanks, I'll stick to spraying grease on the window rail until I can afford to get someone to look at it

If you can pull the door trim off without butchering it, youll be able to shine a torch in the door and see if the wheel is being chewed out.
If your wire looks all neat on the wheel then your fine, sisters was all tangled and bits of plastic and crap were everywhere.
Also while your in there, give the cable a spray with wd40 and the window guides a good spray with the silicon spray.

I don't understand why your saying to check the wheel inside the door, when the window goes up eazy after I spray grease on the window rail ?
