DEFINATELY the M7's

chrome would look stupid. the alloy finish of the M7's would complement the rear spoiler and lights MUCH better. and makes the car look very european (IMO the magna has a very european shape in the 1st place)

EXACTLY what i was thinking!!!

there kinda like BMW style wheels!! and the 3rd gen is kinda BMWish... haha. we did see a magna turn into a beemer not long ago!!

i like the M7's.

Just a query though.. Are the roads any good out that way? Bumps will sure fux them 19's up pretty quickly.

NT roads are some of the best highways in australia.. on average, the whole NT sturart highway gets replaced every 10 years. so everytime you travel there are sure to be some road works upgrading/widing the roads (Which are already plenty wide enough)

ofcourse just like every state and territory, there are some places you just DONT go...

generally speaking, the NT roads are mighty fine! 8)

yer, i think the M7's are gonna win my vote 8)

Ahh ok.. wasnt to sure.

Yes. M7's go well with the colour of your car. i reckon if you could get them in white they would look even nicer!

BOosted' BOoya
19-01-2004, 11:29 AM
yer, they only make em in that silver :x

is it possible to power coat them white??

easy to? expensive?

MAGNA
19-01-2004, 11:30 AM
M7s then powercoat them white once you get sick of the silver color :D

pseudomorphous
19-01-2004, 03:37 PM
i think im goin against the trend when i say it but personally i reckon the Zenetti's look a hell of a lot beter.
Makes the car look like a sports car rather than a posh, arogant mans beamer.
But then again im not exactly a big beamer fan in case u didnt notice.

Glenn
19-01-2004, 03:50 PM
im agreeing with pseudomorphous too, (not about not liking beemers :) ) but about the zenetti's being a nicer option.. but as you have said BOO-YA, other guys have the same wheels in your area, so you want to remain different which i understand, maybe you should go with the M7's. you seem to favor them anyway. not my choice as i said - i like the zenetti's. but you have the final decision, so good luck making it !!!! :o

BOosted' BOoya
19-01-2004, 03:54 PM
well, i got the pricing for both,

and the M7 is a lot better on the pocket!!

but yes, i was leaning towards the M7's anyway, altho after starting at the Zenetti's for almost an hour on end straight, i almost changed my mind, but then i glanced at the M7's and i fell inlove again!!

sorry people, im sure it will look better in real life then the photoshop.. or maybe not  thats what im also scared of.. maybe the M7's wont look as good in real life :?

but the pocket favours the M7's over the Tek's.. ill only be using these rims for show not for everday, as the price aftermarket for rubber is something chronic!!!

so at this stage 19's are 19's and thats big, and thats what i want!!! so M7's look like they'll be landing my way in the next month or so 8)

everyone's imput is muchly appreciated!!! seriously!! i donno where i'd be without you guys ;)

ben,

Glenn

sorry to add to the confusion - im just playing around here at work with your car and i threw these wheels on it. If your after something different - i thought these looked interesting.

anyway - id better do something constructive before i get fired

the problem i now face is the fact that the 19" rim i want might NOT fit cos of the 9" wide profile

but thats the only profile they make :x

mrnizmo
27-01-2004, 05:27 PM
Yeah that actually crossed my mind as well cos my brother in laws 730 BMW has got 265/45/18 on the ass and 245/45/18 on the front.

yes, but remember we are going a further 2" higher + rubber!!

User_1
27-01-2004, 06:50 PM
aren't you keeping the same overall diameter for the rim + tyre?

Im guessing for 245 wide rubber you will need 30 profile tyres instead of 35's.

I know with my rims 235/35zr19 i have pretty much exactly the same overall diameter to my standard 15" steelies
