Nope - the clip remover tool is what you'd use to remove the trim itself, after removing the other retention devices (ie: screws, etc).
An omega clip tool is what you use to remove the window winder ;-)
Sorry - I have no specific knowledge of TR/S door trim removal to offer.
Cheers,
Mattt.

You can allways use a small flat head screwdriver to remove the window winder aswell, just watchout that the clip doesn't go shooting off! apart from they, they are fairly straight foward... (or is that cause I do it all day long:nuts:)

best way to remove the window winder is with an old tshirt put the tshirt up the side the clip opens from and just move the tshirt left and right and of it will come

I'll describe the procedure for drivers side door trim (mirror process for passenger side).
(note, processes dont have to be performed in order.. theyre just written this way for the sake of demonstration)
http://img204.imageshack.us/img204/9638/img0647pm6.jpg
1: On the top left of the door theres a single screw.
2: Single screw in the vent there, just below the first one.
3: Use a small flat blade screwdriver, or a rag, or other suitable tool; and remove the clip from behind the winder.
4: Pop the small plastic cap off here, and undo the screw.
5: Insert a flat blade screwdriver in the small slot and pry the cover off. Undo screw.
6 & 7: Theres 2 screws along the side of the trim. (sorry not visible in the photo, its the only pic i had at hand)
8: carefully pop out the cover from here and undo the screw located deep inside.
9: Carefully pry or lever the bottom of the trim to unclip it from the door metal. Theres a series of clips (4 or 5 from memory) located along the bottom of the trim. They'll pop out after a bit of force is applied, or break.. whichever lol. No major dramas though, unless you happen to break all of them off (highly unlikely) in which case the old hot glue gun comes out lol.
10: push the trim upwards to unhinge the top felt-lined protector along the door glass. Might take a bit of force or levering.
All done!

Alright kinda a delated post /threadmine/thread steal, but anyways sorry for all offended lol. Just took my door panel off *cough splater* now theres like a sheet of white plastic stuff that seems pointless so should i just take it off? or should i just cut the holes through it for speaker and light mounts?
Cheers, Mikey

Cut holes. It's supposed to be there for waterproofing, not sure which direction it is supposed to waterproof  but yeah it is supposed to serve some sort of purpose.

i think its more of a dust cover than water proof. that wat i think anyway, could be wrong.Well the service manual calls it "waterproof film", that's what I was going off.
I did one door last Sunday (was raining), should have both done this weekend, have been taking step-by-step shots to do a write-up once it's complete. Need to get myself some more cutting blades for my rotary tool first, have snapped every single one of mine, breath on them and the bloody things shatter...
