G day everyone I just purchased a 2001 Kj Ei Verada sedan and am wondering if you guys can give me a run down on all the goods and bads that i should expect. The dealer is doing the timing belt as part of the purchase agreement, the car has done 94500. Do the front wheel bearings get noisy around these k's? I actually suspect it could be tower tops possibly on their way out but then it sounds more of a bearing sound, not sure. Any info would be very appreciated.
Thanks in advance

Would like you to check Engine mounts as in vibrations of the car.
And check water bottle reservoir for cracks as I seen nearly most magnas have them cracked.

Wheel bearings are "lifetime" items, shouldn't wear out too quick.
Shocks may be dying by 100,000km depending on how its driven.
I'd check the front end with a fine tooth comb trying to spot any major smash damage.

i'd be checking suspension components in a verada. one thing i've noticed is they sorta skimped a bit in the suspension area so maybe it's the towers or shocks or what not. if it's towers i would think they were a safety issue and should be addressed by the dealer.

Thanks guys for your input, I picked the car up today, #^%!en dealers what a pain in the perverbial.. They changed the tyres front to back and that seemed to fix it surprisingly. So for the mean time i'll moniter the suspension see what comes of it , I want to lower it at some stage. Thanks again for the feedback.

Have you checked the condition of the tyres? As if they seem to have caused the noise it can't be too great...
Another thing is to check the paint on the seal around the rear windscreen, it has a habit of cracking and peeling off...
Anyways, hope you enjoy your new toy and welcome to the club. Post up some pics of your car if you get a chance.
