hi all how is everyone
i just finished ripping the interior roof out of car as it was saggin and making orange stuff go every were now the problem is i dont know how to reattach the fabric to the card board will i need to replace the cardboard(has a split in it, could tape up?) or does anyone know were i can go to get it done really cheap or anyone here able to do it cheap

Well i don't know where your located but the local upholstery shop qouted $160 for a whole new roof lining in any colour i want.
So i guess around that price :)

I had the front lining come down, i removed the plastic trim then reached in with a gun of liquid nails spread it as best i could then pressed the cloth back into place not a real pretty job but it is a quick solution and only cost $3 at Bunnings and an hour of time.

Spray on contact adhesive would be better than liquid nails....

if you can take the hood lining off, and take most of the orange stuff off
then take it to an upholstry place they'll change about $50-90 for a new hood lining
which will last a whole lot longer than one from a wrecker
becos i got one from a wrecker for about $30 then 2 months later that one was down as well.
well worth it in the long run.
$15 for 3M spray adhesive
$20 for a few metres of material if you replace the stocko material with black velour/felt like i did :D
