Nissan 300ZX Alloy Rims 16 x 7.5 with 5 hole stud.

PCD 5 X 114.3 Off Set 40.

Are these gonna be ok for my TR? As in, offset not upsetting my speedo etc? I'm fitting new tyres, the one these come with are bald.

Your factory wheels are PCD 114.3 x 5 and offset of 46. offset will not upset your speedo, overall diameter WILL. just make sure you use the right profile tyre (that miata tyre program works well) and you'll be sweet. offset should be pretty ok, perhaps they will stick out a bit or you might be lucky and they'd be juuuuuuuuuuust flush.

I'm guessing you currently hava 185/75R14 tyres on 14" rims with an overall diameter of
634mm. The best fit would be 225/50R16 tyres with overall diameter of 632mm.

The offset should be fine. I had on my old ks 225/50R16 tyres on 16x7 rims with 40 offset.
You will find that the tyres are flush with the guard (when viewed from the front and back
of the car).

What do you think?

edit: These are 16x7.5 - is that going to make a difference?

You already mentioned the rims are 16x7.5. We need to know the size of the tyres to see
if the whole package will fit and how much difference its going to make.

lol... We just fitted a set of Nissan (Pulsar?) rims to our TP.

I guess this means there will soon be a whole bunch of red Magnas floating around with AMC stickers and Nissan rims? :p

Heh... At least Nissan turned out to be useful for something (other than Skylines) ;-)

Cheers,
Mattt.

..They're 235/50 R16s, but im buying new tyres anyway. I was thinking that 7.5 inches might protrude past the guards, making my car unroadworthy..?

The width of the wheels don't come into the equation at all. Its the width of the tyres.
7.5" = 190.5mm compared with 235mm for the tyre. As smooth2 mentioned, have a play
with wheelmaster. You can enter your current details like 185/75R14 tyres on 14x5.5 wheel
with I'm guessing 46+offset (should be stamped on the rim somewhere) and then enter the
new wheel and tyre dimensions and it'll tell you how far out your speedo will be, as well as
how far in and out the whole package will stick. As I mentioned before, 225/50R16 tyres
are what you need for a perfect fit, been only 2mm smaller in overall diameter which will
only make your speedo/odo overread by 0.3 percent.
