i dont think it will but ive
replaced water bottle n pump
replaced both cv drive shafts, resulting in me have glass all thought my back
all brake discs, pads (in process)
belts here n there, filtters etc
nothing major, but if u ever need to change ya cv drive shafts get a pro to do it, might cost more but saves u crawling around on ya back, and punching holes in the garage wall through frustration n will wont take as long

Heh... We have the TP (my daily ride), the Tarago (90 model - family ride), and a TR I'm unsure as yet what to do with, but which needs the usual suspension bushes, engine mounts, etc for RWC...
The missus wants the TR for a work, etc, ride - but instead, I've promised her I'd find and do up an LJ Torana (her dream car after quitting her last one some years ago - anyone know of a nice, clean original example for sale?), as I really want a 3rd gen Maggie next (and a Hayabusa... sigh...).
Sometimes, I just hate cars - it's usually at the tail end of each week's budget :-(
Cheers,
Mattt.
Hmmm, I just do mine as it comes, I do a full check of everything now and then to see what needs doing.
Other week I did full oil and coolant change, at same time I did wheel bearings cause they needed doing.
Would have changed over my air filter at the same time, I was supposed to have my K&N a while ago, can't wait any longer for it!
I just take it as it comes. Need to do some work on lifters and timing chain next. :)

If you got an attitude problem here on the threads, then leave. He is asking about maintainance do not change the topic of his plates.

Haha, brothers taking it to the forums, must be lonely where you are.
Why not tell your brother to spend the money on fixing his car rather than on some silly number plates!!!

Leaking injectors?
I Concur, check for any leaks around where the injectors are, might even be leaky fuel line somewhere, check everywhere from the pump to the injectors, it would make sense 20 mins into the drive, some might be burning a little around the engine (same as oil would) from heat and then being shot into your face from the gap between where the plenum chamber is (and/or firewall).
Check o2 sensor is functioning properly too.

3 Posts in total, all 3 in this thread, none about car maintenance, not a very good start, and you're not even listening to anyones warnings.
Find some other furom to play on if you dont have anything better to say, and/or like causing trouble.

Thanks for summing it up. He already got the plates deal with the current issue folks otherwise go to another thread of your interests in topic. What you want him to do now? Sell the plates? If he already done it is done. He did not say pls help me between these decisions new plates or maintainance of the car. GET OVER IT.
I am about to be due for my timing belt, and might as well change the water pump. From what I see is a big sum. :(
Well I suggest you could do the vital ones first, if you are tight for cash.

Maybe if you ignore the problem.. it wil go away lol. theres more than one problem shown on this thread, maybe it applies for both lol.
either that or you can kick it, kicking always fixes things.. haha
