well ok, 2day i decided 2 pull apart my instrument panel :) and in the procces i took the needle off of the tacho, then i tried 2 put it back on, and i thought all was sweet, i put it back in the car and now the tacho dosent work :( does any one here know of a way 2 fix it, or am i up for a trip 2 the wreaker, cheers anyway, Nick

if the needle is touching the plastic cover it wont move...

nah its not touchin anythin, it can move freely, i took the panel out bout an hour ago n found out that the sprin behind the tacho it self is every where lol, i think i found the problem, i tried winding it back but no luck :( so i guess im gunna have 2 go 2 u pull it on saturday :(

mine does the same thing...and by the sounds of things....you had the cluster facing face down for a while... because youre not really meant to do that lol

i learnt the hard way lol

apparently there is some sort of silicone in the tacho and it is not designed to by left facing down....hense the picture on top of the facia. facing it down causes it to drip out i think and buggers it up.

i get mine to work with a tiny little tap. or just leave it until i drive and the revs pick up a tad more.
