No. Blame South Africa for that one.....
Secuity feature so you don't have to take the locals home if your on your own. Apparently the programming design originated in South Africa and MMAL adopted it.

It might be possible, but I would expect this option to only be configurable with a MUT plugged into the car.
Cheers,
Martin.

I actualy think its a good feature.
My wife drives our car mainly - and she feels safer (especially at night) that way.

It is a anti-hijack security feature. So that someone hiding on the other side of the car in
a dark carpark etc can't get it when you are getting into the car. Most car manufacturers
have it in their factory security system.

:stoopid: Thats exactly what its designed for.... but get this I dunno why but mine unlocks all doors now, its been doin it for the past 6mnths... Not that I care too much... it just started doin it
Yeah you can change it but not easily. Someone posted up the details of the wires you have to cut/join, possibly add in a diode or something. I feel it's just a pain in the ass, family commodore has it turned off.
If someone is serious enough about hijacking a car they'll get your keys off you.
