hey guys, i noticed this morning that when my main beams r on and im idle at lights or whatever, my stereo lcd fades light and dark slightly as well as the speed warning lcd thing, is this anything to worry about, is there a surge somewhere? also when im charging my psp/satnav via the ciggy lighter the headlights flicker once every 5 mins or so, any info appreciated, . dan

check the battery voltage at idle and 2000rpm
if voltage less than 13.5 you have a problem
try it with lights on too

if under 13.5 get the altinator checked

Yeh sounds like your electrical system isn't coping with the load. The load at which this happens is nothing so i'd be getting your battery or your alternator checked out.
I believe Autobarn do free battery/alternator checks.
