def not legal and its close to a $300 dollar fine. cause you can have any lights facing forward except white. In saying that i did have a set on and i wired to my ashtray light in the console. They ended up melting my washer tubing so no water got through. more trouble than they are worth thats my opinion.

Unless your engine is so powerful it actually emits a blue gow (you know, cause thats what powerful stuff does) then don't worry about it.

Havin said that, if you've got full undecar neons, and are looking for a bit of extra rice... then go for it.

The leds didnt get hot @ all. But the wiring did??
The wires had all the relays n fuse crapola on it. Could of been a few more factors to it melting like 15yr old hose and its as thin as paper well almost as thin. but its all new hoses now and i got rid of the rice lights :)

only reason id do it is cos on some types of car chrome might look nicer than black, wouldnt hook up lights tho

Its very hard to find chrome ones without lights in em. As that was the main reason i got em.

I got these for sum fun. tryed hooked em up, u connect them to your headlights, so they turn on when ever u turn your lights on, but sumhow my cuzen blew on of them, so i chopped the wires, n just keep em az crome, looks heaps better than the black onez i rekon.

They look so stupid IMO.

I have the full chrome ones, you can get them from Autobarn for $20, thats where i got mine from and saves you the hassles of having to run wires and connect lights up.

I had em on my lancer nearly 2 yrs ago and got yellowed stickered... they are stupid hey... i would never ruin a magna with them!! chrome ones would look wicked though

hmm direct fit? are the nozzles plastic or is it all chrome? just wondered how easily it would get gummed up, and if the nozzles were chrome it would make it easier to clean :) wats required for the install process? oh and pics :)

My brother bought some chrome led jets for his maggie but didn't connect the leds. He just wanted the chrome look. They look ok.

connect them up to a sound sensor so when u have foolay sik bass you get the washer jets on...

Nozzles are plastic, have never gummed up and look great when cleaned up.

Installation is a 5 minute job.

No more procrastinating and wasting time, just go buy a set.

Dont get blue, they look bad.
I had green ones on my green lancer, they looked awesome.
I only got pulled over once & got warned.
But I live in tassie so the cops are a little more relaxed here.
I wired them to the battery, Worked a treat.
They were on all the time, I never got around to putting a switch on them.

I had red LED ones on my "shock" red laser.
I bought red to match the car but after wiring them up i decided i was a spastic tool for having them and ppl laughed at me, so i D/C them haha just left them in for the chrome look was a little better then black!

Well ...... I'll admit it I have chrome multicoloured flashing LED washerjets (KMart $14) and bag 'em as much as you like I love 'emlol . I bought them cos they were chrome and that goes with all of my car but hooked them up too to see if they are any good. That was 9 months ago and they are still going strong. I put a switch in though, and wired it up to all my other multi coloured neons and LED's. You'd never know until I hit the switch and then its like Christmas.:nuts:

I have the chrome blue led washers on my car, was a nightmare to wire and keep blowing fuses, so now they just sit there lookin all chrome like.

I have the blue EL dials and blue interior neons, so i'd like to get them working again, just a matter of wiring properly, and using them only when the car is stationary.

I used to have the blue ones when I drove a Falcon. Never had a problem with the lights or with the cops. Once I had them on when I was stopped for a roadside breath test. Cop said nothing about them.
