just meshed my 93 tr's grill. wondering whether to keep it silver like it is or paint it black. im also going to mesh the hole at the bottom of the bumper aswell.
ive attached a photo of how it looks at the moment.
any feedback appreciated

Looks a bit iffy at the moment, probably look a bit less out of place when u mesh the lower bit aswell.

Well i give you kudos for trying mate, im guessing by your L plates your 16?17?
I would ditch the TR grille altogether, Go wreckers and grab a TS grille.
I would at least mesh that from behind, or take out the slats, bog em up and mesh that (refer : JELLMAG)
or do the full letterbox style (Refer, Me, Lucifer)

I just think the TR grilles are dead set ugly and make the car look so old, but adding some TS parts you can make the whole car look so much newer.

Also with your garnish there, tint that too :)

Well it cant hurt taking the mesh off, spraying it, and putting it back.

Ive had black mesh in mine before, and didnt like it much. Now its silver and stand out too much, in a week or two it'll be chianti red to match my car, we'll see how we go then.

different.. not my cup of tea.. i love my standard tr grille :P and i love jellmags one too.. the ts exec grilles are butt ugly in my opinion, but each to their own :P

You need some rims, pronto! Parabolics should be on your agenda too, along with a boot garnish paint or swap for a TS one like I did.

ts exec looks crap, i say do what i did and colour code with a rear tl mitsu badge <<<< or color coded verada grille, nothin else looks as good i reckon

looks pretty good man, howd u attatch the mesh to the bumper?

good old cable ties to attach the mesh to the slots in the grill and bumper.
i put them in places where you wouldnt see them except if you looked really closely, and they were painted the same as the mesh so the job doesnt look dodgy.
