Hi guys... atm i have my cluster out of my car and on my back table and i am trying like crazy to get teh needles off!! how do i do it? I read you just pry them off but it seems very stuck and i dont want to break it. I have an 03 TJII. please help asap

Try sliding a small flat head screwdriver under them and sorta "pop" them off.

If you dont mind me asking, why are you taking them off ?

If your installing eldials you dont actually need to take the needles off.

no you don't, you just need to flex them a little and it will slide in.. i did not take any of my needles of th put the EL gauges on.. i've heard a few horror stories on here about those who tried to take the needles off!!!!

arnt the needles tensioned so they rest on the pin? how RU going to get them back in the right place?

thanks guys... i wasnt putting el gauges on... just some printed out white faced dials. I just ended up cutting the whole a little bigger and slipping it over.

Are they the same ones that were in the group buy?? cause maddog told me they wouldnt fit a TJ?

TJ Series 2 they won't fit.
BTW can you resend your bank info, i accidentally deleted it.

You were going to spoil your speed meter if you take the needles off.

And I heard EL dials dont fit on the TJ cluster, needs to be mod.

And No the EL dials fit over the TE-TH without problems.

Gee good thing i stopped pulling lol. hope i didnt do ne damage.

I followed a Tute on this site for making your own white faced dials. Looks great during the day, But the light doesnt really come through at night. Any suggestions?

What material are you using? Might have to try something that lets more light through.

yeah i was thinking that.. but eveyone was saying to use photo paper. Might have to find something thinner.
