800 will get you your tweeters 8)
i think you should be adding a '1' at the front of your 800.. it will be VERY hard to get a full setup for 800 brand new!!
you sure cos I've seen cadence amps for like $250, 12" pioneer, Sony subs for bout $200 and the 6" with tweeters for bout $250 sony, pioneer, bose

Going on a budget I would recommend getting a Coustic 4x40WRMS amp, a JL 12W0 and some entry level Kicker splits. Bridge the 2x40 into a 160WRMS monochan which is more than enough for the sub; just build a good box. I run the same amp + sub in a 32hz slot ported box and it plays with an excellent balance between transient response and low freq handling.
You could score the amp for $350, Sub for $170 and splits for $170. That leaves around $100 for cabling and other bits and pieces. You may find if you can scrape another $100 together you would be a lot better off in terms of building your own box etc.
sounds good was thinkin of coustic and kicker so nice choices and i got the materials to build the box that's simple. and a mate to help me do it all for the price of a 6pack of crown lager. He's also a sound tech how works Big day out and various similar events so he'll have the sound runnin sexy

For subs at a good price go for the kicker VR comps, if you want a little more i recommend JL subs. Coustic amps are good. And if you want some good 6 inch splits go for JL. I have them and they are top.
i would recommend the cadence range.
You can pick up a set of Cadence midrange splits for $350, a decent 4channel cadence amp to power your sub and splits off (bridge channels 3 and 4 for the sub) and a cadence sub for around $250. Spend $30 on building your own box and youre set for around $800 - $900

Hope you have a decent deck for these mods or else it wont sound as good as you would as hoped. MP3 capability comes in handy for long cruises :D

it really depends on whether you want the 6" to be splits or not.
if you can handle them not being splits then youll be able to do it for $800 but if u want splits then its a no go.
The amp is going to be the most expensive thing but you can get a response amp which will give you the most power for the amount youd pay. You can get a 2x150wrms for around $300 which would do nicely with a pair of alpine type-S subs. then simple buy some 6".
response 2 X 150WRMS Mosfet Car Amplifier $335.00
alpine SWS-1041 Type-S 10” Subwoofer 200Watts RMS $179.00 each
leaving over $100 for some 6inches

Get a Response 2 x 150RMS Amp and look around for some good priced JL Audio Subs, as they sound f**ken awesome. ATM.. I have my brothers 15w0 in the TF and it sounds amazing. He has a 10W3D2v2 in his MR2 and that just sounds bloody brilliant. So, I cannot go past JL Audio. That should leave you with enough to purchase a set of splits, if you can find them on sale somewhere!
