thanks to my old man for sending me a strutbrace for my birthday, he rembered i wanted to get one amongst many things when i was talking to him last ages ago...

so in the mail arrived a nolatec strutbrace, cool...

now just a few bolts to put it on easy

no!

not if you have a sprintex kit on you car...

or....
sorry for the poor pics

now no placebo effect here.... who knows about the handeling..... but it stops the flex in my car big time.... i can really tell driving into the driveway cos it's a diagonal crossing for me and the car dont creak and pop and bang as much

it does make more noise now in driving  so i had to modify (bend) the brace for more clearance.... and now it's all good...

rear swaybar next and custom alignment shortly after :)

I'm very surprised you got that to fit. I was under the impression that if you had a sprintex kit, you could kiss the idea of having a strut brace goodbye. Hope bending it doesn't weaken it - but then again it's not like it's going to do any damage to anything else if it breaks.

seriously this is the best mod i have made to my wagon...

on a stock magna where the suspension works it may do bugger all, but on my pos with zero travel on front heavy rims and crap tyres it has done wonders....

before i used to get plough under steer if i accelerated hard around a corner... kinda like a fwd in the wet no where near that bad though.... now it just hangs on.... it's awesome:badgrin:

going to get the rear swaybar and custom wheel alignment (custom cos no tyre place can do it:nuts:)

price for the strut brace and adj rear swaybar quoted at $160 a piece from bursons
