as the subject sujests i was woundering about thos crazy indicators and what they mean. i am always seeing car with indicators goin overtime and i was just wounder what does this mean is there a broken relay or what this is prob a trivial question for u PRO's out ther but meh

It means that a light is blown somewhere. Having a blown light reduces the amount of power needed therefore overloads the elec system. This makes the switch work faster.

The Indicator Flasher Module IC senses the current drawn by the lights and if the minimum normal load isn't seen (load = less because light bulb is blown) the IC decides that a bulb is blown and flashes the lights at a much faster rate so that you know a bulb is blown.

Yeah I noticed my left indicator going nuts one day, got home and found my front left corner light to be missing, completely lol

Mine was going nuts one day after I had just changed my brake light globe, I was like "wtf another light!". Turns out I had forgotten to plug the light back in so brake, reverse and indicator light didnt work :redface:
