common fault, return the saas boss kit and find someone who sells autotechnica boss kits MUCH BETTER fit, and with the horn it's earthed to the shaft the nut goes on to,

Thanks guys ,for the warm welcome. yes no picture as yet, have been really really busy for the past couple of weeks, fixed the horn but not the cruise control , guess i have to mount it on the side somewhere but i guess the boss kit works. with horn ( been fiddling arround almost everyday) Use the car daily so can't go without steering wheel even for a day. lol

I will post picture as soon as I get the wheels done, 've post couple of things on the forum as well regarding fuel consumption,

im getting arround 350 kms per full tank ,I think it's 60 littre and i think that is a problem , read a lot and aparently i should get my o2 sensor check/ replace.

any ideas arround Chatswood/NSW/Sydney that I can get it change cheap but tidy job,

any suggestion is good thanks :D

thanks dark_magician, sorry about the late reply been really busy for the past couple of weeks.

finally fixed it, long story short, i extend the contacts on the oriignal horn plate so it just touches the horn plate on teh boss kit.

it fixes it and i checked after that eveyr thing works fine. will post picture soon.

i live in cromer,
i can have a look at the car for you if you like.
i would suggest you check your car for the engine codes, the engine fault codes will tell you if you have a faulty o2 sensor...or other problem.

couple of quick questions which will help diagnose..
1. whats ur driving style like. eg grandma, rev head, average, redliner?
2. engine capacity 2.4 or 3.5?
3. kms on odometer
4. whats the oil usage like

Hi ADZA27,

thanks for teh quick reply, sorry being an00b in this, how do i find out what the engine code /error code .

also , i drive like grandma, it's a 3.0l V6, Automatic.
it's oddometer about 125000
just did oil change and regular maintained 3 weeks ago.

hmm also teh most i rev it is up to 3000 rpm, i never go above that. and drive arround form chatswood to belrose everyday to work.

you sit in the morning early morning traffic idling half the time?
if so then that is 70% of the problem.

oh ok, didn't realize that.

you know any place that can check the engine code. or what tools should i get to check those.

check the manual,
it should tell you which pins to bridge out with an anologue multimeter... u could try a digital,... its just a little harder to read...
