hay my mate has a 97ke verada, his car is lowerd and now just got some 18" mags put on, the problem is when he is driving and starts to brake the car starts to vibrate, the slower he gats the worse it gets, i gave it a go and u can fill it throught the brake peddle and the steering wheel, its really bad. we were thinking mabye the rotors are warped or the pads are faulty, but we wouldnt have a clue......
any help would be really good

Hmm could be those,or even the wheels not being blanced correctly. may just be out of balance but not enoug to feel during normal driving untill u get to very high speeds. had the same prob, had to get the wheels blanced a few times before it was cured.

Discs are warped.. you will get a crazy noise out of them too when braking.. Machine the discs or replace them time..:)

thanks, we had it blanced when he got the mags, then when it stradet to do it, he had it blanced again, it makes a bit of a sound like thumping, its realy wired. thanks for ur quick replys

Yeah crazy thumping when braking is warped rotors..:(

If it's not the balance or alignment then it sounds like warped discs. You will need to have them machined provided there's enough disc left, if there's not you'll be up for new ones.

Dead Rotors mate.
Nothing can really be done to avoid it this from happening...
You've done well, 10 years on 1 set of rotors is pretty good imo !


You can pickup new ones on ebay pretty cheap these days.
